Battery Safety Guidelines
DO:
- Read Instructions Carefully: Always review and understand the manufacturer’s recommendations for your device. If instructions are not provided, contact the manufacturer.
- Follow Manufacturer’s Requirements: Adhere to all guidelines set by the manufacturer.
- Keep Away from Children and Pets: Ensure your device and batteries are stored safely out of reach.
DON’T:
- Avoid Damaged or Wet Batteries: Do not use batteries that are damaged or wet. Replace them immediately.
- Check for Visible Damage: Inspect for any visible damage, including the outer insulation jacket. If your device or battery is damaged, contact the manufacturer.
- Do Not Remove Insulation: Never remove or use a battery with a missing insulation jacket.
- Use Correct Batteries: Only use batteries recommended for your device. Avoid mixing old and new batteries, different brands, or batteries with different charge levels or mAh ratings. If replacing multiple batteries, replace all of them.
- Store Batteries Properly: Keep loose batteries in a case to prevent contact with metal objects. Avoid storing them in pockets with coins or keys.
- Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Protect your device from direct sunlight, extreme cold, and high temperatures. Do not store your vape in a car or expose it to freezing temperatures.
- Use the Correct Charger: Never use a phone or tablet charger for your vape. Always use the charger that came with your device. Charge your vape on a clean, flat, hard surface, away from flammable materials. Do not leave it charging overnight or unattended.
- Install Batteries Correctly: Follow the manufacturer’s markings for correct polarity (+/-). Improper installation can cause personal injury.
- Do Not Disable Safety Features: Always keep safety features enabled to ensure safe operation.
